Чечня, Грозный, улица Маяковского 60. По этому адресу с завтрашнего дня, в своей штаб-квартире начинает работу группа Содействия Организации по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе [ОБСЕ]. Кроме оказания гумантарной помощи и возвращения беженцев, миротворческая миссия ОБСЕ в Чеченской республике собирается вести интенсивный диалог со всеми сторонами участвующими в конфликте, прежде всего, чтобы остановить военные действия, установить факты нарушения прав человека. |

Chechnya, Grozny, 60 Mayakovsky Street. An aid group will begin work here tomorrow at the Headquarters of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe [OBSE]. In addition to rendering humanitarian aid and returning refugees, the OSCE peacekeeping mission in the Chechen Republic intends to conduct an intensive dialogue with all the sides in the conflict, with the aim, first of all, of stopping the military aggression and establishing facts of human rights violations. |

Об этом сегодня сообщили на пресс-конференции в посольстве Венгрии в России участники группы: шесть дипломатов -- из Венгрии, США, Франции, Польши, Швеции, и Швейцарии. Мандат ОБСЕ обеспечивает им полную свободу действий. Группа имеет права свободного перемещения, свободу контактов с любимыми группами населения -- политическими, военными, и религиозными кругами. |

This was announced today at a press conference held at the Hungarian embassy in Russia by participants of the group: six diplomats -- from Hungary, the U.S., France, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland. The OSCE's mandate empowers them. The group has the right of free passage and is free to contact any group of people from political, military or religious circles. |

Прежде всего, миссия ОБСЕ посетит Самашки и Бамут, предпримет попытки найти пропавших Фреда Кооны и его сотрудников. По мнению дипломатов, эта миссия может только реально содействовать разрешению конфликта, но и обеспечить демократичность последующих процессов в республике. |

To begin with, the OSCE mission will visit Samashka and Balmuld to attempt to find Fred Cooney and his co-workers who are missing. It is the opinion of the diplomats that this mission may not only help resolve the conflict, but it may also help ensure the success of future democratic processes in the republic. |
