This Country Study
ePortfolio consists of a generic template of questions designed
to guide learners through a study of Internet resources (webliographies)
that have been identified for a specific target country.
The
end product - the completed workbook assembled by the learner
- will contain basic target country information as well as
a guide to useful Internet resources for future reference
and study.
Country-specific
webliographies are a work in progress. Completed and online
are webliographies for Russia, Ukraine, and several other
Slavic and East European countries.
Also
completed and online is the Any Country generic webliography
which, as the title suggests, can be used to produce an ePortfolio
for almost any nation in the world.
The
ePortfolio consists of 50 questions, each with three parts.
Part A asks for basic factual information. Parts B and C ask
for an expansion of that information which will require further
and deeper research. The 50 questions cover the entire spectrum
of target knowledge, including geography, politics, history,
economics, health issues, the military, and many other topics.
The
ePortfolio can be downloaded to your computer by simply copying
and pasting the "50 questions" preview below to
a word editor or by downloading either the Microsoft Word
or Plain Text versions (also noted below).
